Lunenburg’s architecture reflects a strong European influence. Historic buildings and stately homes can best be appreciated on a walking tour or by horse-drawn carriage. The Lunenburg Academy, an excellent example of 19th century Second Empire architecture and the numerous historic churches, all add to the unique charm of Lunenburg’s tree-lined streets.
